High Green Barn is an unconverted barn in the village of Gunnerside, in the heart of Swaledale. Gunnerside has a pub, Church, tearooms and lovely walks from your doorstep in all directions. The nearby market town of Reeth is 6 miles away and Hawes 10 miles away.
The barn was bought in September 2019 by the owner of the field behind it, they have managed to secure planning permission for a 1-bedroom barn conversion. As it is in the National Park it does have a 106 Holiday Let only restriction on the property.
Currently, it has ground floor and first floor rooms both with external access, there are a couple of existing windows on both floors. The property is surrounded by 'common land' to the front with pedestrian access to it.
The owner has also added a section of the field behind the barn to be included in the sale.
As per the planning permission, there is a right to park 1 car by the gate at the bottom of the field, however this space will not be owned.
This little barn will be a fantastic cottage in a superb village with stunning views.
